This watch is awesome! I can text right from my wrist. The fit app is nice to keep track of my activity levels. A great app I found was remote shot. It lets you view the camera on the watch and take pictures and videos remotly. Also has weather reports. It looks great too. I've gotten plenty of complements on it!
While I was a little loath to give up having a heart rate monitor, it wasn't the main reason I wanted a smart watch. Primarily this is about ensuring that I have a scheduled reminder with me even when I put my phone down at home and walk away. It works. Plus, this is a pretty watch, even without messing with the watch face. Toss in the ability to change the face and this becomes a fun watch too. It works really well with my Android phone. Integration is tight. I can even dictate text messages into it pretty well. So I'm very happy with the primary purpose of the smart watch. The battery life is better than the ones I've used in the past too.
I have really enjoyed this watch and do not regret purchasing it at all. The S365 was the top android watch. I am a loyal Samsung customer but could not resist the price and quality of the S365. Having this watch helps me view quick messages in class as well as emails without having to take my phone out. The feature I really enjoy is the "find my phone" feature, I tend to misplace my phone around the house quite often and normally while on silent or vibrate. With this feature, no matter if your phone is on silent the volume sounds and helps you find your phone. Overall this product has been one of the best purchases I've made in awhile and I use it everyday.
This is an awesome product! The item is well made and clearly high quality. It was relatively easy to pair with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 when following the instructions that came with the watch. I'm glad I got the S365 because of the speaker. The speaker volume could be louder but it's workable. All in all the S365 smart watch is a super easy to use beautifully crafted piece of wearable tech!
I use this everyday, and I don't think I could live without it. Sounds a bit extreme, but I wear the watch everyday .
What it will do:
-conduct phone calls through the phone
-Show all notifications that you receive on your phone.
-Be able to dismiss these or reply with a quick message via voice.
-Control music from almost any music player on your phone. I've found this to be very useful while in the car, or at the gym.
-Useful for many health features. Heart rate, pedometer, and calories.
-And of course Tell Time.
I've found that the Weather app is very useful. Its free, gives you some great looking watch faces, and gives you accurate weather on the fly.
So I was originally going to purchase the Samsung Gear until I found out they don't use the Android Wear os. So I went and looked into some of the other options available, and I instantly decided the S365 was one of the top options. For those who have never owned an Android watch, the cheaper ones have the same options as the more expensive ones for the most part, they just have a little cheaper parts. When I saw this watch on sale for $50, I jumped on the opportunity.
Display: The display is actually very high quality on this watch. It gets very bright and has surprisingly good details for such a small screen.
Battery: So the battery life is actually pretty decent, and can easily last through the whole day if you're just using it to check notifications, get reminders, and other basic functions. However, and this is a pretty big concern for a lot of people including myself, the watch face stays black unless you look at it. So in other words, you don't really get to take advantage of all the amazing watch faces that make the phone look so stylish, which to me was one of the biggest appeals. There are ways to make your watch face stay on, but even at the lowest brightness, it'll die in just a few hours. If you turn the brightness up, you'll be lucky to make it an hour. However, this happens with any watch and is to be expected. Being the size of a watch, they can't fit a big battery in there. And not even a phone can stay on with full brightness for very long, so I can't dock a star for this.
Functions: Like I said earlier, you get Android Wear, and to me this is a great perk. You can check text messages, send text messages, check notifications from just about any app, read Facebook messages, set reminders, caldendar events, write notes, record things like a lecture or meeting, see incoming calls, etc. Most things that can be done on your phone can be done here, and while some may find it unnecessary, anyone who has a busy schedule, or just doesn't like to take their phone out every time they get a notification will love it.
Design: I love the overall design personally. I think it looks great, and you can personalize it with whatever watch band you prefer. The only thing I dislike about it is that it's a little thick, and it's on the bigger side in size as well, so it might look weird on someone with small wrists. Overall, I like it more than most smart watches.
Overall: I am really impressed by this watch and think it's better than most watches that cost twice as much. It isn't the most high quality, and some people may want to go with the 2nd gen, but I think you get most of the same features even though this is getting on the older side. If you're on the fence about getting a smart watch, jump on this opportunity while it's still at this price!
The design is very simple, elegant and crafted right - comfortable and stylish. I've been sporting that on me every day since the day I received it!
It is definitely a great experience for me.
The watch does encourage physical activity and, should you choose to ignore the watch's good faith effort to encourage a more healthier lifestyle, you will soon realise that you've wasting some of the watch's value. Tools built into the watch include a pedometer (which tracks every step and every movement emulating a step), a built-in optical heart rate monitor (which is pretty nifty but shouldn't be heavily relied on... especially if you have high blood pressure/hypertension,) and a workout log for your day-to-day and weekly activity. Needless to say, if you knew me personally, this all was a sign that I need to do more and I'm doing just that!
As for the physical watch itself, I am very happy with its design and display. Being that it's round. Overall, however, I have found the watch to be very ideal in many situations. I honestly have found the full value of the watch when the phone is actually silenced or in vibrate mode. While the watch does not have a built-in speaker, it certainly destroys its value when your phone, being close to you physically, is making a noise 30x louder than the watch. I have found it useful in the car or during exercise when it's time to switch a song on a music app with notifications.
Overall, I highly recommend this watch!!
