Love this band! It was for my young son and I was not expecting it to be great, but it would do. It ended up being better than I expected and the price was great! You can get calls, texts, and more. I just needed it to track steps, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Overall really good device. The app is a little weak but not a big deal. The steps and sleep monitoring is much accurate. The battery also lasts a long time. Surprisingly long time. Overall this is a very good device.
I wanted to use this unit for a little bit before I left the review. I have been super impressed with this, especially for the cost. It is comfortable to wear (I wear it all day, don't take it off because it is waterproof). It seems to be very accurate with steps and distance as well. It vibrates when I get a call, Facebook message, text message, or email. Keeps up with activity, sleep, if you tap the screen will break down when you were active and when you were in deep sleep. I charge it about every other to every 3 days, while that sounds a bit much, it only takes about 15 minutes to charge. So all in all I am very impressed with the tracker and what all it does for the cost.
If you are looking for an excellent FitBit alternative that won't break your budget, then you have come to the right place. This activity tracker/heart rate monitor isn't flawless, but a couple of small software tweaks, and this device would easily rival far more expensive activity trackers. I've been using this fitness band for 4 days now, and here are my thoughts so far:Hardware/Build: 5/5 - The activity/fitness band is extremely comfortable to wear, and you will hardly notice it is there. I am coming from wearing a Moto 360 Sport, which feels huge in comparison to this fitness band. The band itself also feels very durable, and thankfully it is also IPX 6 waterproof rated. To me that is a necessary thing to include in a fitness band. In this case the band can take on heavy sweat and rain, but you shouldn't go swimming with it.The Battery: 5/5 - The 5-7 day battery claim is very accurate. I've been using it for 4 days as my only watch, and it has continutally been connected to my phone through Bluetooth that entire time. After 4 full days of using the watch I still have around 30% battery remaining. This is completely shocking to me considering it only has a 60 mAH battery. To top it off, this can charge in your computers USB drive for about a hour and go from 0% to 100%. So the battery lasts a long time, and it charges very quickly, so that's an easy 5/5 stars.Notifications: 4/5 - This is an activity tracker, and not a smartwatch, but with that said, it can give you notifications from your phone for a multitude of apps including SMS, Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, WeChat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Linkdin, etc.... The messages it displays on the watch aren't all that great to view, but it is nice to know where the notification is coming from to know whether you need to look at it right away on your phone.
Purchased for my husband, took him some time to adjust to the band but now he LOVES IT! He wears it everyday to work and comes home and inform me how many steps he has taken throughout the day! Great investment and great price! Highly recommended!
I have been wearing this K8 fitness tracker / pit band and been really enjoying it. If you are looking for an affordable phone finder, alarm clock, a convenient caller id device, pedometer, sleeps tracker, step counter for how many steps you took in a day, and heart rate monitor all in one - then this is a great little device for you. The product came in a package with a fit band, little charger, USB cord, and an informative user manual. It works right out of the box. I was able to pair and bind this with my Samsung Galaxy as well as with the iPhone. It took less than five minutes to pair the device. This device is very durable and sturdy. It is super lightweight and comfortable to wear all day and night. This fitness tracker has a futuristic feel to it. The design is sleek and sharp. The device is water resistant, so I can wear this while I wash my hands or do my dishes. I was cooking and didn't know where my phone was and this device alerted me that I had a call from my sister. The Caller ID showed the names of the people who called that was on my contact list, and while unknown callers had their numbers listed. I also used this device to locate my cell phone for me. There are a lot functions that I had fun using on this device, and many I have yet to use. I am sure I will be trying more functions out later in the week or within a few months. I am really enjoying this device and have replaced my watch with this instead. This device is great with alerting me with beeps, light flashing and vibrations. This is a great quality product that is easy to use and comfortable to wear, I would recommend this to my friends and family members.
I love this watch it lets me track my steps, offers heart rate check (not sure if it is checking it right l I don't use it for that) let's me know when I get messages and if you are quick enough read them! and offers you the ability to control the volume on the phone along with call notifications. I personally think this watch is worth what I paid for it. And it plugs into any USB slot that allows you to charge items
The band fits me real well, but I am a man, my wife has tightend hers as tight as it will go and is still loose but she has a very small wrist. It seems to count the steps on the app at my fitness club but the calories do not match up with what the fitness machine registers. I burned 400 caloris according to the fitness machine but for the whole day the fitness band says I have only burned 382 calories, seems a bit to low. My wife seems to always beat me on steps and she has the same fitness band. Not sure if she is really that good or that my band is low on its count. regardless of that, I really like the band and how it functions. I like that it will fully charge in 1 1/2 hours by just plugging it into any USB port and it will last for up to 7 days. That makes it very easy to charge compared to other models that require a special charger. Good product and I hope I have helped you decide, but I do reccommend this fitness band and this seller. I paid full price for this fitness band and was not given any promotions.
My wife recently became hearing impaired. She can still manage to talk on the phone (HTC One M8 has the best audio quality for someone with the type of hearing damage she has), but she frequently misses calls because she doesn't hear her phone ringing. We got this so she can get an alert that she can feel when the phone rings. She likes it for its other features too.I'm not sure how accurate the pedometer is, but even if it isn't perfect, it provides some metric, and that's useful. The heart rate monitor seemed fairly accurate. The app is okay, it doesn't integrate with any of the web services, but for the price- I think this thing is a fairly decent alternative to the big names in the market. And now when she doesn't answer- I know its just because she doesn't want to talk to me!
